Rescue effects of intravenous immunoglobulin on optic nerve degeneration in a rat model of neuromyelitis optica

Abstract: IVIG administration reduced optic nerve degeneration in a rat model of NMO-optic neuritis. IVIG could be used as a treatment in the acute phase of NMO.
