She regularly promotes and contributes to open scholarship activities at UBC and incorporates her interest in open science and using open resources into her teaching. In addition to her liaison role, she aids in graduate student programming for UBC's Research Commons and co-teaches the Science and Technology Information Sources and Services course at the School of Information in the Faculty of Arts.
