Research on consensus of multi-agent systems with and without input saturation constraints

Abstract: In recent years, with the continuous development of multi-agent technology represented by unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) swarm, consensus control has become a hot spot in academic research. In this paper, we put forward a discrete-time consensus protocol and obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions for the second-order consensus of the second-order multi-agent system with a fixed structure under the condition of no saturation input. The theoretical derivation verifies that the two eigenvalues of the Lapla… Show more

“…A multivehicle longitudinal cooperative formation system is essentially a typical multiagent system (MAS), which can complete tasks that an individual cannot complete alone [3]. The goal of a MAS is to enable multiple intelligent subsystems to cooperate with each other and perform complex cooperative tasks.…”

“…In recent years, networked systems (NSs) have attracted much attention due to their wide application in pattern recognition (Hoppensteadt and Izhikevich, 2000), image encryption (Wei et al, 2019), and so on. Consensus, as one of the basic and important properties of NSs, has attracted more and more researchers’ interests (Qi et al, 2021; Ren et al, 2022).…”

“…This can not only pass-through obstacles safely but also reduce energy consumption. Furthermore, another key issue of multiple UAVs is that the desired control inputs cannot be implemented owing to the external disturbance, actuator saturation, and failure (Liu et al, 2020 , 2022 ; Duo et al, 2021 ; Yang et al, 2021 ; Wang and Dong, 2022 ).…”
