Research on electrical automatic control system based on PLC

Abstract: At present, automatic control technology is widely used in the field of drying. Although the existing processing technology can basically ensure the quality of drying, there are some problems, such as low production efficiency, low thermal efficiency, uneven hot air cloth, inaccurate temperature control and so on. The application of electromagnetic technology can improve the efficiency of drying and processing. It has remarkable energy-saving effect. In the drying process, aiming at the technical problems such… Show more

“…The PLC receives input signals from the computer, buttons, and switches, and controls its output contacts based on the pre-written PLC program [4] , thereby controlling various relays to achieve control over electrical components such as motors, solenoid valves, ball valves, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), heaters, and air coolers. In this test bench, the Siemens S7-200 smart CPU SR60 PLC is chosen as the controller, along with digital and analog expansion modules to realize functions such as motor control, ball valve logic control, proportional valve output control, and system fault alarm in the electro-hydraulic servo valve system.…”

“…The design of the analog input PLC program also needs to be done if there is use of a temperature or humidity sensor that produces an analog signal (Feng & Wang, 2022). This program must be able to convert analog signals into digital information that can be received by the PLC.…”
