Research on energy storage configuration to cope with the risk of isolated network operation in the Yunnan power grid

Abstract

Yunnan is rich in natural resources, and has good power grid access conditions, 500 kV main grid structure, 220 kV grid spread, Yunnan has unique advantages in the development of new energy. Yunnan power grid structure is weak, some areas are long chain grid, there is a risk of isolated network stability. In order to study the improvement effect of energy storage in isolated network area on the stability of isolated network, according to the architecture and load characteristics of local power grid, a numerical simulation was carried out for the access energy storage capacity, the access energy storage control mode and the access energy storage location, respectively. By analyzing the 110kV bus steady-state voltage under different energy storage configurations, suggestions should be put forward for the optimal configuration of energy storage in isolated network operation.
