Research on hot-press factors of poplar veneer/disposable plastic film plywood

Abstract: The main object of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of using disposable plastic film as a novel wood adhesive in the plywood production, which is done to eliminate formaldehyde release during plywood production and use. The bonding strength of plastic film was determined by testing the strength of three-layer plywood.
