Research on motion characteristics of floating breakwater with pneumatic chamber

Abstract

<p>The main purpose of this research is to use the boundary element method to establish a three-dimensional numerical model to simulate the stability and wave resistance of the structure based on the application of floating breakwater with pneumatic chamber.<br />From the two-dimensional numerical model and experimental results, it is found that the pneumatic chamber under a floating body can make the floating body give a resistance force when waves are affected, and increase the ability of the floating body to resist waves.This research focuses on the difference in stability and anti-wave effects under this influence.<br /> Numerical simulation is based on small amplitude wave theory, constructing numerical model with three-dimensional boundary element method, discussing the Response Amplitude Operators (RAO) of the structure under the action of waves.</p>
