Research on Position Servo System Based on Fractional-Order Extended State Observer

Abstract: The control quality of servo system requires not only stability, speed, and accuracy, but also strong anti-jamming ability. The permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is a multivariable and strongly coupled time-varying nonlinear system. It will be subject to different degrees of external interference. According to the advantages and limitations of fractional-order PID (FOPID) controller and active disturbance rejection control (ADRC), the fractional-order calculus concept is integrated into ADRC. “…e key role of ESO is to observe total disturbances and transfer the real-time observations to NLSEF. Fractionalorder extended state observer is presented to observe the total disturbance in [18]. However, high switching gain leads to chattering and steady state fluctuation.…”

“…In recent years, many scholars have designed effective control methods for motor servo systems based on LADRC [39]- [41]. In [39], LADRC was used for disturbance control of a permanent magnet synchronous generator to improve the tracking accuracy of the servo system.…”

“…In [40], an LADRC method for measuring delay compensation of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) current loop was proposed; this method improves the disturbance suppression performance under the dead-time effect. In [41], a control strategy based on fractional order ESO was proposed for a PMSM position servo system; this strategy improves the motion accuracy and disturbance rejection ability. It can be seen from the existing research work that adding known model information into ESO design can reduce observation burden and improve estimation accuracy of system states [42], [43].…”

“…[30], ADRC is applied to the uncertain nonlinear system with external bounded random perturbations. Despite NADRC studies, it is a common problem that high-frequency buffeting occurs to a certain extent after the system reaches a steady state [31]. In addition, ADRC is primarily used for typical single-input single-output (SISO) systems or the standard ADRC model at present, and the multidimensional nonlinear system is rarely studied.…”
