“…Because porous concrete has certain pores and a smaller cement paste volume than ordinary concrete, the traditional method of mixing with one-time material filling easily leads to pore blockage [8] , which is unfavorable both to the connectivity of the pores and the improvement of strength. Therefore, this experiment has adopted the paste-coating [9] method for concrete mixing. First, we add all the aggregate and 70% mixing water, mix for 60 seconds, then add half the cement and waterreducing agent, and mix again for 60 seconds; finally, we add the remaining cement and mixing water, and mix for 60 seconds; upon completion of mixing, we load it into the test mold in three layers; after filling each layer, immersion stick is used to operate 25 times evenly, and then we conduct surface leveling so that the bulging part is rough of the same volume with the depressed part; finally, we conduct curing 24-hour demoulding in Standard Curing Room; after demolding, curing is maintained to the specified age for performance test.…”
