Abstract:The inadequate recycling rate of waste polyester textiles (PET) is a significant issue that needs to be addressed. This paper proposes PET/polypropylene (PP) composite boards as a more effective approach to achieving the efficient recovery of waste PET textiles. The study investigates the mechanical, hydrophilic, and thermal conductivity properties to explore its potential as a furniture board.
