“…With a rise in energy prices, environmental pollution will be reduced, but a decline in energy prices will distort environmental pollution, which in turn will affect the efficiency of the green economy. Zhang et al (46) believe that the intensity of foreign trade will have a significant impact on the efficiency of the green economy, and continuously expanding the scale of highquality foreign trade can promote regional green growth. Therefore, this paper selects government funding intensity, energy consumption, energy prices, and foreign trade intensity as control variables.…”

“…The literature [15] used an economic distance weight matrix, combined with spatial autocorrelation analysis and a spatial panel econometric model, to explore the spatial effects of upgrading firm structures in external trade and foreign investment regions. In response to the phenomenon that foreign trade in less developed regions can cause serious environmental problems, the literature [16] used a qualitative approach to analyze the green economic benefits of foreign trade and sub-developed regions. The literature [17] establishes a complete picture of Germany's foreign trade by analyzing data on products, trading partners, volumes and values over a long period of its foreign trade and verifies Germany's dominant position in manufacturing in combination with the theory of comparative advantage.…”
