Research on Tip Clearance Measurement Technology of Aero-engine Blade Based on Optical Fiber Sensing System

Abstract: A novel non-contact detecting method of aero-engine blade tip clearance based on an optical fiber sensing system is presented. To eliminate the sensor measurement error caused by the slight change of the reflectivity value of the mechanical end face when the light source angle fluctuates and rotates, a three-coil coaxial fiber bundle sensor is proposed.
