Abstract:BACKGROUND: Patients who have been treated with mechanical ventilation for more than 72 hours are susceptible to symptoms such as hypoxia and respiratory muscle fatigue after weaning, which may result in weaning difficulty and delay, as well as an increased incidence of negative emotions such as anxiety and depression.
