Research Progress of Disinfection Technology in Building Hot Water System

Abstract

Legionellae often occurs in hot water systems of building, while there is insufficient attention on disinfection of hot water system. This paper summarizes the research status of disinfection technology in hot water system, including hightemperature thermal disinfection, chlorine disinfection, chlorine dioxide disinfection, chloramine disinfection, copper and silver ion disinfection and ultraviolet disinfection. 1
