Research progress of orbital fat in histology and cytology: A review

Abstract: Orbital fat is an adipose tissue located behind orbital septum and originates from mesoderm and neural crest in ectoderm. It has been found that the histologic structure of orbital fat is different from subcutaneous and visceral fat.
