Abstract:High-resolution microscopy has opened the door to the exploration of the micro-world, while femtosecond laser has provided a measurement method for the detection of ultrafast physical/chemical phenomena. Combination of these two techniques can produce new microscopic techniques with both ultra-high spatial resolution and ultra-fast temporal resolution, and thus has great importance for exploring new scientific phenomena and mechanisms at extremely small spatial and temporal scales. This paper reviews the basic… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
