Background: To conduct bibliometric analysis to explore scientific interest in lymphedema rehabilitation. Method: The data for this study was obtained from Scopus, a multidisciplinary database, for the period of fifty-four years (1969-2023) using keywords ‘lymphedema’ and ‘rehabilitation’. Results: When the term 'Lymphedema' is scanned, 22.080 articles found; In addition, when we added the term 'rehabilitation', 747 articles were found. 271 of the articles were open Access. When we look at the year distribution, the highest number of articles was in 2022 year (N=88). There were 3 articles in 2023 year, 70 in 2021 year, 58 in 2020 year, and 54 year in 2019. USA (184), Italy (51), German (50), Spain (42), Poland (38), Turkey (36), Canada (35), Australia (33), South Korea (33), the United Kingdom (33), produced the most lymphedema rehabilitation research. The distributions of documents types were; article (528), review (151), conference paper (17), editorial (15), book chapter (14) and short survey (9). English was the most common Language with 609 paper. The names of the top 10 authors were as listed; Schmitz KH (13), Armer, JM (12), Invernizzi M (9), Grushina TI (8), Staut NL (8), Stubblefield MD (7), Crevenna R (6), De Urieze T (6), Fusco N (6) and Jean JYO (6). The total number of citations was 1764, the maximum citation was in 2022. H index of the citations was 57. Conclusion: We see the multidisciplinary interest in lymphedema rehabilitation, rising over the years. As a result of early diagnosis of cancer and increased awareness of survival, lymphedema rehabilitation will become among the trend topics of research area.

BackgroundThe sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) takes on a critical significance in breast cancer surgery since it is the gold standard for assessing axillary lymph node (ALN) metastasis and determining whether to perform axillary lymph node dissection (ALND). A bibliometric analysis is beneficial to visualize characteristics and hotspots in the field of sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs), and it is conducive to summarizing the important themes in the field to provide more insights into SLNs and facilitate the management of SLNs.Materials and methodsSearch terms relating to SLNs were aggregated and searched in the Web of Science core collection database to identify the top 100 most cited articles. Bibliometric tools were employed to identify and analyze publications for annual article volume, authors, countries, institutions, keywords, as well as hotspot topics.ResultsThe period was from 1998 to 2018. The total number of citations ranged from 160 to 1925. LANCET ONCOLOGY and JAMA-JOURNAL OF THE AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION were the top two journals in which the above articles were published. Giuliano, AE was the author with the highest number of articles in this field with 15. EUROPEAN INST ONCOL is the institution with the highest number of publications, with 35 articles. Hotspots include the following 4 topics, false-negative SLNs after neoadjuvant chemotherapy; prediction of metastatic SLNs; quality of life and postoperative complications; and lymphography of SLNs.ConclusionThis study applies bibliometric tools to analyze the most influential literature, the top 100 cited articles in the field of SLNB, to provide researchers and physicians with research priorities and hotspots.

This study aims to integrate research in the field of aerobics and mental health through the visualization analysis method of the CiteSpace map, to clarify the impact of aerobics on mental health and stress levels. Firstly, based on the literature method, pieces of literature related to aerobics and mental health are searched and collected. Secondly, the visualization analysis method of the CiteSpace map is employed to summarize and analyze the contents of the literature, involving statistical analysis of the annual number of publications, analysis of author characteristics, and analysis of publishing institution characteristics. In addition, keyword co-occurrence analysis and keyword cluster analysis are also conducted in related research fields. Among them, the Log-Likelihood Ratio is used in keyword cluster analysis. Finally, the results are analyzed using the visualization analysis method of the CiteSpace map and the statistics-based comprehensive results. The results demonstrate that in the recent 20 years, the average annual number of articles in related fields exceeds 190. The high-yield authors are distributed in economically developed areas, and the cooperation among authors is scattered. In the keyword clustering results, a total of 77 cluster labels are obtained. The Q value of the clustering module is 0.89, and the average clustering profile silhouette (S) value is 0.92, indicating that the clustering structure is significant and the results are reasonable. The aerobics cluster contains the most closely related keywords, covering mental health and stress levels. Data analysis based on existing studies reveals that aerobics has a significant impact on mental health and stress levels. Individuals participating in aerobics show obvious improvement in mental health inventory (MHI) scores (t(100) = 4.32, p<0.05). Individuals participating in aerobics present a remarkable reduction in the questionnaire evaluation of stress levels (t(100) = -3.91, p<0.05). This study’s results support aerobics’ positive effects on mental health and stress levels.
