Resection of the Distal Pole of the Scaphoid in Symptomatic Scaphotrapeziotrapezoid Osteoarthritis and Symptomatic Scaphoid Nonunion

Abstract: Purpose: Resection of the distal pole of the scaphoid is one of the surgical techniques applied for the treatment of painful scaphotrapeziotrapezoid osteoarthritis (STT-OA) and nonunion of fractures in the distal part of the scaphoid.
