“…A survey of the Queensland wool clip for IGR pesticides (cyromazine, diflubenzuron and triflumuron) has recently been completed. 11 Whilst most wool samples tested contained < 1 mg/kg of these pesticides, highest concentrations reached 120, 310 and 240 mg per kg of greasy wool, respectively. The use of IGR pesticides and the factors associated with large amounts of residues will need to be monitored, in the same way that OP and SP residues have been monitored, in order to avoid too much of these pesticides on wool and to maintain the clean and natural image of wool.…”
