Abstract:The sensitivity of seedlings of two wheat varieties to the model toxicant (boric acid) in two soil types was tested with the use of the method (FR.1.39.2016.24117). The soil with a high content of humus was less toxic then the soil with less humus level with the same content of toxicant. It is shown that it is expediently to use the same type of soil for the control for an objective assessment of the effect of the toxicant contained in the tested soil on the test-organisms.
