Resource management simulation using multi-agent approach and semantic constraints

Abstract: The resource management in a dynamic environment is a really complex problem. If semantic constraints are taken into account the complexity increases significantly. The problem definition of resource management using semantic constraints in the subject domain is demonstrated by means of an example of manufacturing scheduling. The application of multiagent approach is suggested and examined to solve the resource management problem. Experiments simulate two types of calculations of the resource allocation proble… Show more

“…To solve this problem numerically, it is sufficient to define a cycle which repeatedly searches for the root of Eq. ( 16) at a given resolution (U step), and registers the amperage for that given voltage [2,3,8,10,15,17,22,24,27,28].…”

“…Figure 7 shows a polycubic olap model for a complex analytical task built by the user. The OLAP model consists of data sources, DataStore, OLAP cubes, and result presentation [24,25,28]. The characteristics of the OLAP model include: the power, dimension, volume of the hypercube, where the power of the hypercube is the product of the power of its measurements, and the volume of the hypercube is the product of the power of the cube and the number of indicators.…”
