Resource Potential of the Beekeeping Industry of the Black Sea Region

Abstract: The article explores the resource potential of the beekeeping industry in the Black Sea region, which occupies the southern part of Ukraine. It includes Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions and Autonomous Republic of Crimea until 2014. The leading inter-branch complex of the Black Sea Economic Region is the agro-industrial complex, which has high rates of production of grain (almost a third in Ukraine), sunflower, grapes, fruits, vegetables, meat, and wool, which is 14.4% in the total volume of Ukraine.
