Abstract:Summary:The experiments were run with samples containing municipal sewage, synthetic wastewater or mineral wastewater. The study hasled to the following findings: (1) phenylsiilphonic acid is resistant to biochemical oxidation; (2) the concentration of sulphates inrreases markedly in the course of the degradation process, and (3) at, initial concentrations of phenplsiilphonic acid higher than 300 g/mz the nitrification process is inhibited.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
