Respons Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit dengan Pemberian Kompos Pelepah, Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit, dan Air Cucian Beras

Abstract: In oil palm plantations, compost application for plants aims to support a sustainable cropping system. The study aimed to determine the effect of oil palm midrib compost, oil palm empty fruit bunches and rice washing water on the growth of oil palm seedlings in the main nursery. The experiment was conducted at the Ciparanje Experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Padjadjaran University, from February 2020 to August 2020. The experiment was conducted using an experimental method using a randomised block de… Show more

“…This is thought to occur because the goat manure liquid organic fertilizer contains a macro nutrient, namely N (nitrogen). Similar to the opinion of [16], that the N content can accelerate the formation of green leaves (chlorophyll) which is useful for the process of photosynthesis so as to spur vegetative growth such as height, number of leaves, leaf area and stem diameter. Table 6.…”

“…These elements are needed for the formation of fruit, increase the average length (BJR), maintain plant health and are expected to also play a role in increasing oil content [4]. Apart from plant nutrients, other factors such as mesocarp weight are also thought to have an effect on the increase in oil content [5]. Other fresh fruit bunches (FFB) components such as stalk and spikelet have not been studied much related to the relationship between these components and oil content.…”
