Abstract:Abstract. Studies of explosive transformations have been actively performed under low-velocity mechanical effect since the previous century. The studies were performed with HE subjection to effect by a bullet, a spherical fragment, planar and others impactors. Obtained results were numerically simulated with good agreement of numerical and experimental data. However, because of complicity of the explosive transformation process, there are presently no comprehensive data on conditions of its initiation. Among v… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
