Responsibilities of Today's Principal: Implications for Principal Preparation Programs and Principal Certification Policies

Abstract: Historically, principals served as disciplinarians and the teachers' boss. Under current federal legislation, principals now must accept the responsibility to manage personnel, funds, and strategic planning.
