Abstract: Background/Aims: Nitroglycerin is widely used as a coronary vasodilator in the treatment of ischemic heart diseases. This study investigated the influence of hypoxia on nitroglycerin-induced relaxation in endothelium-intact and -denuded rabbit, monkey, and porcine coronary arteries.
