Restoration of oscillation in network of oscillators in presence of direct and indirect interactions

Abstract: The suppression of oscillations in coupled systems may lead to several unwanted situations, which requires a suitable treatment to overcome the suppression. In this paper, we show that the environmental coupling in the presence of direct interaction, which can suppress oscillation even in a network of identical oscillators, can be modified by introducing a feedback factor in the coupling scheme in order to restore the oscillation. We inspect how the introduction of the feedback factor helps to resurrect oscill… Show more

“…This suggests that there should be some proper prescription to resurrect oscillation from such quenched states. Regarding this issue of revival of oscillations, there exists some significant contributions [36][37][38][39][40][41][42].…”

“…Ghosh et al examined the restoration of oscillation process from the mean-field [21] induced death states of coupled systems. Revival of oscillation scenario is also investigated in a network of coupled oscillators in the presence of direct and indirect interactions [22]. Very recently this process has been verified experimentally [23] using processing delay in interaction term of coupled systems.…”

“…is concept has been presented in [19]. Since then, the restoration of rhythmicity and revival of oscillation have been investigated widely with the numerical, theoretical, and experimental method [20][21][22][23][24][25]. For example, a scheme for reviving the oscillation states from the quenching states in the coupled dynamical networks has been proposed, and an experiment of chemical reaction was performed to verify this method [26].…”
