Rethinking Experience: What Do We Mean by This Word “Experience”?

Abstract: This paper uses autoethnography to reassess the concept “experience” and the lack of theoretical frameworks within experiential education for delimiting experience within the practices and research around experiential, adventure, and outdoor education.
