Abstract:Background
This study investigates how exposure to violence affects cyber-aggression among college students, and explores the roles of negative rumination and cognitive reappraisal in this process.
Methods
A total of 12,149 students from eight universities in southeastern China participated in the study, which utilized questionnaires on community violence exposure, negative rumination, emotion regulation, and youth cyber-aggression.
