RETRACTED: The role of physical education in preserving the integrity of human existence

Abstract

The problems of preserving existentiality as a proper human way of being, human authenticity and identity arise in the wake of the latest technologies, instrumentalisation of human life and digitalisation of all spheres of society. Consideration of human integrity from the point of view of kalokagatia is presented in the article from the perspective of physical culture and sport. The mission of physical culture is understood and justified as ensuring the harmonious integrity of existentiality, human existence in its fundamental, deep ontological specificity. Harmonic integrity of a person is considered from the point of view of semantic differential of subjectivity of its research in three categories of persons: students, athletes, coaches. The meaning of harmonic integrity is also seen in the concept that actualises the idea of a special quality of the national resource - human capital, understood as a resource of skills and competences, as well as knowledge, on the basis of which human abilities are developed.
