Retrieval dynamics in resolving relational inconsistency during verbal analogical reasoning.

Abstract: Reasoning about verbal analogies requires selective retrieval of relevant relational information. A consequence of this may be that inhibitory processes in memory cause reduced recall of information associated with analogy-irrelevant relations.
