Abstract:Background: FOLFIRINOX (5-fluorouracil, irinotecan, and oxaliplatin) is a highly active regimen for the treatment of patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer. However, FOLFIRINOX is associated with significant toxicities such as neutropenia, diarrhea, and peripheral neuropathy. Here we report a rare case with metastatic pancreatic cancer complicated with retroperitoneal emphysema and interstitial pneumonitis during FOLFIRINOX chemotherapy.
