Retrospective Analysis of Risk Factors for Postoperative Perineal Hernia After Endoscopic Abdominoperineal Excision for Rectal Cancer

Abstract: Background: In contrast to open-surgery abdominoperineal excision (APE) for rectal cancer, postoperative perineal hernia (PPH) is reported to increase after extralevator APE and endoscopic surgery.
