Abstract: IntroductionA long-term intragastric feeding is the indication for percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) placement in a patient. The procedure is performed in children with central nervous system (CNS) disorders, congenital heart defects and neoplastic or metabolic diseases.
