Abstract:Background: Surgery often plays an important role in the management of the diseases commonly encountered in the obese, especially cardiovascular diseases. Surgery in current practice is no longer delayed to allow obese patients to lose weight. There are therefore, increasing numbers of obese patients undergoing non-bariatric surgery.Objective: To highlighting the management of postoperative complications of surgical treatment of morbid obese patients.
