Retrospective study of the prevalence of heart diseases in dogs

Abstract: This work aimed to analyze the frequency of the main cardiopathies in dogs treated in the region of Bauru, SP, Brazil. A population of 466 dogs (285 females and 181 males) referred to a veterinary cardiology center from January 1st, 2014 to July 31st, 2015 was evaluated by echocardiographic examination.
