Return Field Induced Partial Erasure in Trailing Edge Shielded Perpendicular Writers

Abstract: Trailing edge shielded pole head is the primary writer design for perpendicular recording (PMR) with soft under layer (SUL), due to its higher field gradient compared to a single pole head.
