Reverse engineering of signal acquisition chains using the theory of sampling signals with finite rate of innovation

Abstract: This paper presents a novel theoretical framework for the reverse engineering of signal acquisition chains. We investigate how signals are transformed through a chain of signal acquisition and reconstruction stages. The signals, at different stages in the chain, are modelled using the theory of sampling signals with Finite Rate of Innovation (FRI).
