Abstract: Biofilm-mediated continuous fermentation with cells immobilized has gained much attention in recent years. In this study, thermoresponsive poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)-grafted cotton fibers (PNIPAM-CF) were prepared via an improved surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization.
