Reversible Circuit Synthesis of Symmetric Functions Using a Simple Regular Structure

Abstract: Abstract. In this paper, we introduce a new method to realize symmetric functions with reversible circuits. In contrast to earlier methods, our solution deploys a simple and regular cascade structure composed of low-cost gates which enables significant reductions with respect to quantum costs.
