Abstract: The undersigned hereby recommend to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research acceptance of this thesis:Reversible enzyme phosphorylation as a mechanism for metabolic adaptation to dehydration in the skeletal muscle of the African clawed frog, Xenopus laevis.
