Abstract:BackgroundEthambutol (EMB) is one of the first-line anti-tuberculosis therapy. One of its precarious side effects is ethambutol-induced optic neuropathy (EON). The ocular manifestations of EON include painless loss of central vision and cecocentral scotomas in the visual field.
