Review Essay : Structural Adjustment, Industrialisation and Technological Capabilities in Africa 1

Abstract: After nearly two decades of structural adjustment programmes in Africa, this paper exam ines the state of African industrialisation and efforts to build or rehabilitate technological capabilities.
