Based on publicly available regional or site-specific monitoring data, typical emerging pollutants in China mainly include endocrine disruptors, perfluorinated compounds, microplastics, and antibiotics, all of which are causing severe pollution issues in the air, water, and soil environments [ 22 , 30 ].
