Abstract:Background: Hypertriglyceridemia-induced pancreatitis (HTGP) is defined as pancreatitis associated with serum triglyceride (TG) levels exceeding 1,000 mg/dL. Current guidelines are lacking in regards to the optimum dose of high-dose insulin infusion (HDII).
