The pursuit of net‐zero economy goals and government emphasis on sustainable performance has compelled numerous firms to focus on sustainable production through the adoption of net‐zero economy‐based green innovation. The digital transformation of manufacturing systems and supply chains, supported by the utilization of big data and the adoption of net‐zero economy‐oriented lean practices in the presence of net‐zero economy‐based green practices, can converge to enhance net‐zero economy‐based green innovation in manufacturing firms. This convergence leads to an improvement in green competitive advantage and net zero‐based green performance. To examine the aforementioned linkages using a framework based on the dynamic capabilities view paradigm, a time‐lagged design was employed to collect data from 594 manufacturing firms. The empirical findings indicate that big data analytics capabilities and net‐zero economy‐oriented lean practices of firms significantly influence net‐zero economy‐based green innovation. Green organizational identity strengthens the effect of net zero‐based green innovation on green competitive advantage and net zero‐based green performance.

Sustainable development monitoring reveals the extent to which local and national territories are progressing towards sustainability goals. This study considered 105 indicators associated with the Equitable and Sustainable Wellbeing (BES) framework and 139 indicators associated with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), using multicriteria decision analysis (MCDA) and cluster analysis to compare regional performance across the Italian territory in 2022. At the SDG level, Lombardia exhibited the highest performance, while the provinces of Trento and Bolzano led at the BES level. The results were further analyzed with respect to geographic macro-areas and the three dimensions of sustainability, via separate cluster analyses comparing the BES and SDG results. Northeast regions emerged as the top performers, and comparable performance was shown by regions in the center and northwest. The development of a sustainable innovation model, alongside territorial cooperation and synergy between regional specificities, may generate competitive advantages, especially when combined with resources and skills with an international profile.

This study focuses upon the current scenario of SDGs implementation by revewing the articles published since 2012 to present. There have been a number of studies being performed by various researchers. So it becomes important to analyze the available studies to get insights about when, where, by whom and how these researches evolved over the years. However, the main area of this study has been limited to India only to check the evolution of Sustainability Development Goals. Bibliometric analysis has been used to analyze 580 articles which have been extracted out of 37,700 articles by following a rigorous process. For which the systemmatic review of literature has been adopted which is followed by the bibliometric analysis. The findings of the study reveal that India has adopted SDGs but the pace of adoption is comparatively slow and India need more policies and awareness program to achieve sustainability goals.
