Abstract:We review sublinear modeling in probabilistic graphical models by statistical mechanical informatics and statistical machine learning theory. Our statistical mechanical informatics schemes are based on advanced mean-field methods including loopy belief propagations. This chapter explores how phase transitions appear in loopy belief propagations for prior probabilistic graphical models. The frameworks are mainly explained for loopy belief propagations in the Ising model which is one of the elementary versions o… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
