“…The Yu'erya gold deposit is located at the eastern section of the Yanshan orogenic belt in eastern Hebei. The gold‐bearing quartz veins occur in the northern margin of the Malanyu compound anticline (Bagas et al, 2020; Feng, 2017) and are controlled by the NEE‐ and NNE‐trending faults (Liu et al, 2016; Ye, 2012). The genetic type of the Yu'erya gold deposit is still controversial: (1) it is a magmatic‐hydrothermal deposit related to granitic magmas formed by partial melting of basal material in the lower crust (Chen, Li, et al, 2019); (2) the mineralizing fluid belongs to the medium‐low temperature, low salinity, low‐density NaCl‐H 2 O‐CO 2 ± CH 4 fluid system, and the estimated mineralization depth reaches 2.14 km, which can be considered as a epithermal deposit (Guo et al, 2017); (3) the mineralizing fluids with low salinity and high CO 2 indicate that it is an orogenic gold deposit (Bagas et al, 2020).…”
