“…The molecular weight of natural resource polysaccharides has an important effect on its biological activity [28]. The molecular weight distribution of LBP, LBP < 10 kDa and LBP > 10 kDa was determined by high performance size exclusion chromatography coupled with multi-angel laser light scattering and refractive index detector (HPSEC-MALLS-RID), which is a technique for independent determination of the absolute molecular weights of polymers in solution by detecting the scattered light of polymer components [29].
